There is nothing wrong with Depravity in this regard. However, there is something wrong with Bethesda. A bug might make some items permanently disappear, usually modified weapons. The only other solution is to leave those weapons on the ground, somewhere safe. This simple mod just lets you keep the items to begin with. It is absolutely a cheat. Cheat, cheat, cheat.
