Introduction
The second to last mod on the road map, what a journey! Thanks for all your support <3
Ever wondered what the fallout 3 style molerats would look like in fallout 4? Me neither but here they are anyway, This adds the style of molerat found in the capital wasteland and the mojave along side their commonwealth counterparts, once again our main goal is to complement the existing creatures with a bit of variety to spice things up for you playthroughs. The mod also includes a brand new companion to follow you on your travels across the commonwealth, he can be located in the molerat den under red rocket near sanctuary. He comes with some craftable apparel items to give him a more destinct look, these can be crafted at the chemistry workbench.
Features
- DC molerat added to the molrat leveled list

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 1,526 endorsements and 179k downloads
- Adds lore-friendly variety to molerats, making the wasteland feel more diverse
- Simple cosmetic addition that doesn't overhaul gameplay
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2019, so may have compatibility issues with newer game patches
- Only affects molerats, so if you want broader creature variety, this won't cover it
For Fallout 4 players who want more visual variety in the wasteland without changing gameplay. If you're a lore enthusiast who appreciates seeing creatures from other regions, this is a nice touch. Skip if you're looking for new creatures or gameplay mechanics.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple replacer mod, you can install it manually by dropping the files into your Data folder, but using a mod manager like Vortex or NMM is recommended for easy uninstallation.
- If you're using other creature mods, check for conflicts in load order—place DC Molerats after other creature overhauls to ensure its textures take priority.
- Make sure to enable mods in your Fallout 4 launcher or use the mod manager's deployment to avoid the mod not appearing in-game.
