📋 About This Mod
Introduction
They are back, and they have teamed up! This mod adds the DC variants of the supermutants also their West Coast ones aswell (Yes that also includes nightkin). This is only a small mod but just a little something to spice up your playthrough with some extra variety, these will fight alongside the existing Fallout 4 Institute Supermutants.
One disclaimer this doesn't add more armours and they use the existing Fallout 4 ones and there are minor bits of clipping here and there. But that being said there is the hoods for the nightkin.
Features
- 3 new varieties of Super Mutants (DC, West Coast and Nightkin)
- Levelled list integration
- Completely functional Nightkin with Stealth capabilities

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community adoption (2,928 endorsements, 218k downloads) — clearly a fan favorite
- Simple concept that directly expands enemy variety without overhauling the game
- Includes Nightkin, a fan-favorite enemy type not in the base game
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in January 2021 — may have compatibility issues with newer game patches or DLC
- Small mod, so don't expect a massive content drop — it's just a spice-up
- No detailed documentation on spawn locations or compatibility with other creature mods
For Fallout 4 players who want more enemy variety, especially those nostalgic for the classic DC and West Coast supermutants. If you're a lore enthusiast or just tired of the same old mutants, this is a quick add. Skip if you're looking for a major overhaul — this is a small tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a small mod, you can install it manually by dropping the files into your Data folder, but using a mod manager like Vortex makes it easier to uninstall if needed.
- Check if you have any other mods that alter supermutant spawns or appearances — load order might matter to avoid conflicts.
- If you're on PC, make sure to enable mods in your Fallout 4 launcher settings before starting the game.
