📋 About This Mod
Stops all combat music tracks from looping, letting custom combat songs play in full without getting cut off.
I once tried to replace the soundtrack with songs from Xenoblade Chronicles X (being another post-apocalyptic game it felt fitting) only to get repeatedly frustrated that the music always seemed to cut out early and start over partway through. I later found that other users' soundtracks had the same problem.
Each of Fallout 4's combat songs is programmed to loop at a certain point, only playing in full after the requisite number of loops (most fights are long over before that). Sure, tracks that are barely a minute long are safe, but very rarely do any games have songs that are both that short AND sound good in combat.
Using the Creation Kit I have killed the combat music's looping. Now we can have custom combat songs as long as we damn well please!
