📋 About This Mod
Description
This is fix for freezing script. Without it enemy that was killed with cryolator or any other cryo weapon respawns in dead-like state. They just lay on ground or stand still, not attacking, not moving.

There if two versions:
- Regular version. Closest to vanilla behavior script.
- Optional version. Removes forced limb explosion when enemy dies. Also if you evere like me experienced CTD when using cryolator this version will fix it.
Note that it's not retroactive fix, it means that enemies already affected by this big will stay bugged. There is nothing i can do, i tried. But new killed enemies will respawn without issues.
It's a standalone part of my Damage Type Variation 1. 9 mod. Use one of this mods.

CryoFreez Fix is a small bug fix for Fallout 4 that resolves a freezing script issue where enemies killed with cryo weapons respawn in a dead-like state, unable to attack or move. With 751 endorsements and 14,965 downloads, it's a community-trusted fix for a specific annoyance.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved fix with 751 endorsements and nearly 15k downloads
- Targets a real, annoying bug that breaks immersion when enemies glitch out
- Simple and focused—does exactly what it says without extra bloat
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017, so it may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 patches or DLC
- Only addresses a niche issue—if you don't use cryo weapons, it's useless to you
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter enemy respawn or AI scripts
For Fallout 4 players who love using cryo weapons and hate seeing frozen enemies glitch into unresponsive statues after respawning. If you're a completionist or roleplayer who wants consistent enemy behavior, this is a must-have. Skip it if you never touch cryo weapons or if you're on a heavily modded setup where script conflicts are a concern.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a script fix, place it early in your load order to ensure it loads before other mods that might affect enemy AI.
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting issues.
- Test with a cryo weapon on a few enemies to confirm the fix works before adding it to your permanent load order.
