This mod overhauls the companion system by giving companions special stats and traits through a system that you will recognize from games like Shadow of War. Also included in the package is a companion generator. You can get a randomly
IMPORTANT! IF YOU DON'T GET THE HOLOTAPE AUTOMATICALLY, YOU CAN CRAFT IT UNDER "UTILITY" AT A CHEM STATION.
IMPORTANT! IF YOU NEED TO REQUEST ANOTHER RESCUE MISSION, YOU CAN DO SO THROUGH THE BLEEDOUT SETTINGS.
IMPORTANT! ANOTHER RESCUE MISSION WILL NOT OCCUR UNTIL A SURVIVOR DIES, UNLESS YOU REQUEST ONE THROUGH THE HOLOTAPE. YOU CAN CHECK A SURVIVOR'S RANKING AS SOON AS THE RESCUE MISSION BEGINS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT RANKING, THEN ENSURE COMPANION DEATH IS ENABLED AND WALK AWAY FROM THE SURVIVOR OR WAIT FOR HIM TO DIE. THE RESCUE MISSION WILL OCCUR SHORTLY AFTER.
Changelog
Fixed a bug with the Warrior trait making the companion have 999999 health permanently.
Fixed the gigantic can't talk to NPCs bug.
Added in the ability to request Rescue Missions.
Added a companion FX setting that turns on a legendary "aura" around the companion when the Troll or Warrior traits activate.
Fixed a bug with companion ranking not working for very high stat companions.
Fixed a bug where human companions could get the Warrior and Troll traits. The Warrior trait can only be obtained by Super Mutants, and the Troll trait can only be obtained by Super Mutants and Ghouls.
Made Special and Epic traits more rare across the board.
Nerfed companion scavenging. They find less items overall, even if they have the Scavenger perk.
Experimental fix for the companions not dying bug
Fixed a small companion rank calculation bug.
-All companions now get a random weapon that has infinite ammo like vanilla companions do.
-All companions find caps instead of ammo now.
