Combat AI Uncapped overhauls the Fallout 4 NPC and companion combat behavior by editing Combat Styles.

Originally, most companions relied solely on ranged weapons regardless of enemy type or distance, avoided fighting in groups by being overly defensive, and moved directly toward enemies instead of flanking.

This mod removes these limitations by setting the most common CombatStyles to 1. 0 with Attack Staggering to 10. 0 when NPCs and creatures get too close. This gives NPCs, creatures and companions freedom to choose melee, ranged, or magic attacks based on the situation, fight independently in groups, and use flanking tactics.

It also adjusts the accuracy to better suit enemies with creatures and bugs and raiders not being too accurate 40% - 50% meanwhile Gunners, Brotherhood members being more accurate 70% - 80% and Robots and Synths being 100% accurate.

And will also fix some companion AI bugs and some TLC Perks like immune to radiation damage and 2 ranks in Sneak to prevent triggering traps. They will try to keep up with player when following and they will also move out of the way more quickly with the added bonus to not consume ammo.

This mod is now a FOMOD installer with four versions:

Normal Version:

Standard enhanced combat behavior.

Prevent Armor Damage:

Includes PowerArmorPreventArmorDamageKeyword to prevent Power Armor damage.

Pre-Next Gen Version:

Pre-Next Gen compatible (excludes ccBGSFO4046_CaroniCs), last pre-Next Gen release.

Pre-Next Gen Prevent Armor Damage:

Pre-Next Gen with PowerArmorPreventArmorDamageKeyword, last pre-Next Gen release.

Compatible with both Standard and Next Gen Fallout 4 editions.
