📋 About This Mod
My tool case retexture with five colors. More rusty, more dirty. Branded with the famous HH Tools Company logo.
When using Base Object Swapper (BOS), the tool cases in the world are randomly replaced. If you don't use BOS all cases are orange.
All tool cases are now craftable in workstation.
Performance friendly vanilla mesh with fixed latch clipping when opening the case.
And yes, it's a modders ressource, because why not!
If you use it, please credit me and/or link to this mod. Thanks.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 140 endorsements and over 17k downloads.
- Fixes animation clipping, a real annoyance in the vanilla game.
- Craftable tool cases add a new gameplay option for builders.
- Five color choices give you flexibility to match your settlement style.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated January 2026, but no confirmation of compatibility with the latest Fallout 4 patches.
- Only affects the tool case—if you're looking for broader texture overhauls, this is too narrow.
- No screenshots or detailed install instructions in the description, so you're flying blind on the visual result.
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who want a rustier, dirtier tool case with color options and the ability to craft it. Skip if you're after a comprehensive texture overhaul or don't care about tool case aesthetics.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple retexture, you can install it manually by dropping the files into your Data folder, but using a mod manager like Vortex makes it easier to uninstall.
- If you're on PC, make sure you have the game's archive invalidation enabled (or use a mod manager that does it automatically) to see the new textures.
- Check the mod's comments section for any user-reported issues with specific DLC or other mods that alter the same object.
