📋 About This Mod
Nice place by the beach and with a view on the ocean. Who wouldn't like to have a house in a place like that? Sadly, originally there wasn't that much left of the actual house so I decided to change that! This mod turns the remains of Coastal Cottage into a fully repaired and well kept building with tons of decorations and functional objects inside including a sink with rad-free water, some crafting stations and a working terminal and a barber chair. There are also a lot of containers to store your belongings and a fireplace. But that's not all, this mod not only changes the cottage itself, it also levels the terrain around it, road leading to it is no longer a dirt path, now it's a cobblestone road. I removed most of the unscrappable debris and that hole in the ground. Other than that, just for immersion reasons, since cottage now has electricity I connected it to the pre-war power line.
Requires the Far Harbor DLC. Settlement is not affected in any way by this.
This mod rebuilds Coastal Cottage into a cozy player home, all exterior with no loading doors, eliminating stuck settlers. It's a cosmetic overhaul for Fallout 4 players who want a functional settlement without interior cells. With 418 endorsements and 6,176 downloads, it's a moderately popular choice.

- No loading doors means faster travel and no interior cell loading screens
- Fixes the annoying stuck settler bug at Coastal Cottage
⚠️ Cons

- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter the same area
For Fallout 4 players who like Coastal Cottage but hate the broken interior and stuck settlers. If you want a cozy, no-loading-screen home in the Commonwealth, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for a major settlement overhaul or something that touches multiple locations.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's an exterior overhaul, make sure you don't have other mods editing Coastal Cottage to avoid conflicts.
- If you're using a mod manager, enable this mod and check for conflicts in the load order.
- Visit the location after installing to see the changes; you may need to clear the existing debris first.
