Classic NV Skill System

Classic NV Skill System is a total overhaul of Fallout 4's lackluster progression system, with the goal of bringing meaning back to character builds.

It restores all 13 classic Skills, all 120 New Vegas Perks, and all 16 Traits. My goal is to make building a character feel important again while bringing that familiar Fallout 3 and New Vegas progression into Fallout 4.

  Troubleshooting

  If something stops working correctly, use the Refresh options in the MCM before reporting the issue. Refresh All is the best place to start after an update or if something appears missing or stuck.

  Load CNVSS as late in your load order as possible, after most other plugins but before PRP.

  CNVSS uses Perk Conditions Framework for UI replacements and perk-condition checks. If the problem is specifically related to incorrect requirement text, perk checks, or their UI replacements, please report it on the Perk Conditions Framework mod page rather than the CNVSS page.

  When reporting a CNVSS issue, use Write Diagnostic Report in the MCM and include the generated Classic Skill System log whenever possible.

  Load Order

  Load CNVSS as low as possible, after most other plugins but before PRP.
