📋 About This Mod
Currently covers Brahmin, Mole Rats, Yao Guai, and Radscorpions.
Please read the description in its entirety.
I no longer play Fallout 4.
You need the original BA2 files from the original mods. You also need to know how to unpack them, because you'll need to remove the scripts folder.
To view and extract files from BA2 Files, use this tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17061
Right click the BA2 and choose 'extract here', delete the scripts folder, and repack.
I play with the unpacked BA2s because I am near the BSA limit and they are roughly around 1 MB in size. You do not have to repack them if you plan on doing the same.
To repack BA2s, use this guide: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22079
You need to delete the original .esp/.esl file and use mine instead.
The reason why I can't distribute my copy of the BA2 is because of the strict permissions on the mods owned by FriedTurkey and GrilledTurkey. They have retired so I can not contact them to ask for their permission in redistributing them.
Please let me know if any of these don't work. These are simple model replacers so it shouldn't cause any issues like their original counterparts (no offense to the original mod creators by that, just regarding the comments section
If the original authors want me to remove their mod(s), please contact me and I will do so without hesitation.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download-to-endorsement ratio (25k downloads, 50 endorsements) shows real usage.
- Brings back the classic Fallout 3 creature designs for nostalgia lovers.
- Covers four common creature types, giving a noticeable visual change early on.
⚠️ Cons
- Only four creature types covered—you'll still see vanilla Fallout 4 creatures elsewhere.
- No updates since December 2023, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches.
- Potential conflicts with other creature texture mods that touch the same models.
For Fallout 4 players who miss the gritty, mutated look of Fallout 3's creatures and want a touch of nostalgia. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or a complete creature overhaul—this is purely cosmetic and limited in scope.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on PC, use a mod manager like Vortex to install and uninstall easily.
- Check if you have other creature texture mods installed—load order matters to avoid conflicts.
- This mod doesn't affect gameplay, so it's safe to add to any playthrough.
