📋 About This Mod
Riot Armor was developed as specialized model of combat armor, only issued to select Police Stations and the United States Marine Corps. Some models of the armor featured a duster that would protect the armor from dust. However, in more urban settings like Boston, the duster was replaced with a larger, protective gorget additional plating to the back. The design of the helmet was also redesigned with more protective plating. Additionally, the integrated optics system was more restricted, requiring specific West-Tek devices to activate the vision modes to prevent Chinese forces from repurposing the helmets in the event of capture.

This mod adds a new, melee weapon, under armor, three new loading screens, and a tiered armor to the commonwealth.
The armor is considerably stronger than combat armor and will start to spawn on members of the Brotherhood and Gunners at level 30. The armor will also rarely be found as random loot, on riot armored ghouls, or in vendors at level 26. The Riot Police Uniform can be found on gunners and vendors at any level.
The chest armor features multiple faction-based decals to choose from.
The Riot Helmet can be customized even further and features four helmet, seven face, six filter, seven headlamp, and six eye mod variants to choose from
Most of the helmet mods can be mixed and matched
Like the chest armor, the helmet has several decal options to choose from as well.
Vision mods such as night or thermal vision can only be activated with the West Tek Optics Master, a device that can rarely be looted off of Riot Armor feral ghouls.
The new melee weapon, the Riot Baton, does more damage than the regular baton and will start to spawn wherever a normal baton can be found at level 14.
