📋 About This Mod
Boston Bandits
This mod adds new clothing, armor and headwear for the vanilla body to existing levelled lists, and custom outfits for many named settlers and NPC's. Purchase SDF (Settler Defence Force) equipment at a Chembench to give your settlers a fighting chance. Every item has new textures with nothing above 2k. New gear unlocks as you level and factions become tougher over time.
Vanilla Fallout 4's faction outfits lack variety, in some cases like Gunners they seem like an afterthought. Over the years I have built up this mod to offer what the game should have at release. The core of the mod adds many new underarmors and headgear to Raiders, this faction needed the most diversity. Perhaps the most different from original are Scavengers. They were a pushover in battle and wore generic settler outfits, now they have a very distinctive and varied appearance based on the S. T. A. L. K. E. R. games. The often overlooked Triggermen have loads of new suits, ranging from disgustingly filthy, to perfectly clean. Gunners have an expanded but very faithful style. Brotherhood and Minutemen are untouched since I think they are fine already.
As you discover new settlements you will encounter named NPC's with custom outfits, making them more memorable. You might even find some unique outfits on enemies and the dead. Goodneighbor guards get a larger selection of vanilla style outfits. There is also a whole new set of outfits for you and your settlers that can be crafted as you level. There is some cut content included. Some vanilla items are retextured to better fit such as Assault Gas Mask, Green Hood, Gunner and Raider Harness. Female Army Helmet mesh is smaller. Reginald's Suit, Agatha's Dress and Railroad reward outfit are now unique.
Requirements
I included two outfits that use vanilla textures so you can retexture raider long johns and leathers for even more variety.
HD Raider Armor has them both. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15510
I fixed the seam on his long johns too. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/59672
