Blahaj Emotional Support

I wanted to add Blåhaj to Fallout so here they are. Not exactly lore-friendly, but I put way too much effort into this for it to be a shitpost.

Having them ride around on your back seemed like an appropriate way for them to come with you, so they’ve been added as a clothing item you can craft at the chemistry bench in “Utility”. There are multiple colours to choose from at the armour workbench, and of course you can name your Blåhaj there as well.

If you want them to just chill out in your settlement, you can drop them like any other piece of clothing. I did make a misc item at first which is still in the mod if you want to spawn it with the console (FEXXX001).

There is an optional addon which will allow you to add storage options to your Blåhaj.

This mod has no special requirements other than Fallout 4 version 1. 10. 163. The mod reportedly works on the Next Gen update.

This mod should have no compatibility issues as it does not change anything in the game.

It will obviously have clipping issues with anything you put on your back, or bulkier outfits (though Blåhaj is a soft toy, so they could just be pressed into your back).

Choose either the 2k version (recommended) or the 4k version, do not install both. Install with your chosen mod manager, or put the contents in your Fallout 4\Data directory.

I generated the collision mesh with Nifskope, and it’s not very accurate, so Blåhaj is a bit chunky and will float slightly when you drop them.

I went overboard on the teeth, they’re not completely accurate and have too many polygons for their size, so I might redo them with a 2D version which look more like Blåhaj’s.

I originally intended to just add a Blåhaj model I found online, but it had too many polygons, and I couldn’t find a better version, so I used it to build my own one by retopography. This was my first time 3D modelling and took over a week to make because I was learning the whole time. I quite enjoyed it so might make more 3D content.
