Barney Rook Lives

This is a simple ESL flagged ESP that creates Barney as a new settler. This Barney has his own FormID separate from the vanilla Barney, so there is no interference with the quest at all. I recommend that one completes the vanilla Barney quest in Salem, "Gun Run", leave his basement, fast travel away. Save and close the game right down. Install and enable this mod. The "new" Barney will be chilling in his bunker. If you install this mod before the quest is done, there will be two Barneys in the bunker until the quest is done. I named him Barney Rook R so one knows it is the mod Barney.

I used the Male Rough voice so the new Barney will talk like a regular settler/npc as the voice file for the vanilla Barney has no dialog after the quest is done.

One can leave him in the bunker to live his life or send him to a settlement to work. As this mod is very simple just use a couple of console commands to recruit him then send him any where. Click on Barney then use these commands:

Recruit:        cf "actor.setcompanion" true true

Send to Settlement: cf "actor.setcompanion" false false

Once he is in a settlement one can use the game workshop mode to assign, move him.

It should work in all versions of the game.
