📋 About This Mod
2018. 10. 08
I made a version that works with the NMM install. I tested it and it works.(If it doesn't you could try the manual install)
This is a replacer file. It is not a esp file.
- If you have the Nuka-World DLC and have any type of "Space" robot part(Weapons) that you can get from the Galactic Zone,
putting the "Space robot part" will force your robot to have a Space paint color.
In this state if you remove or replace the "Space robot part" to other regular parts, your robot's paint will turn into
a "Default NPC" type color.
Through this way you can have NPC type military color for your robots including Assaultrons and Sentry Bots.
ps. The Space robot parts can be all unlocked if you have 20 star core in the Galactic Zone Star Control Frame.
- Optional file removes the SentryBot's red face light!

Since there is no pre-war color for the Automatron SentryBot paint I 'tried' to make one but due to the lack of knowledge this is the best I can do.
This texture replaces the 'Dark Green Paint' of SentryBot class in automatron workbench to a more similar look to a regular pre-war sentrybot color.
(It only replaces the sentrybot's paint not the other bots.)
I am no good at texturing so I couldn't make the military decals to work and the texture itself only looks like 70% close to the original one.
As I don't know anything about modding there will be no console mod but if there is anyone who can make this better you are welcomed to.
Installation
First you have to enable the textures and meshes in the Fallout4.ini(It will be in the Fallout 4 save directory.)
Find the line: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
Then add " TEXTURES\, MESHES\" this two in the line.
The line should look like: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MESHES\
Save the text and go to the next step.
SentryBot Texture replacer
Filename: DLC01SentryArmor_Lgrad
1. place the file in the directory(where your fallout 4 is installed.)
2. Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Textures\DLC01\Actors\CreateABot
3. you will have to create the folders if they don't exist.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 719 endorsements and over 14k downloads.
- Simple cosmetic change that gives your SentryBot a fresh pre-war look.
- Optional face light removal adds extra customization for your robots.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the 'Dark Green' paint job, so other paint options remain unchanged.
- The optional mesh replacement may conflict with other mods that alter SentryBot meshes.
- Last updated in 2018, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches or DLC.
For Fallout 4 players who build Automatron SentryBots and want a more classic, pre-war aesthetic without the glowing red eye. It's perfect for lore-friendly robot builds. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or if you use mods that heavily overhaul SentryBot appearances.
💡 Beginner Tips

- If you use the optional mesh replacement, place it after other SentryBot mesh mods in your load order to ensure it takes effect.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or NMM to easily toggle the optional file on and off.
