Animated World Framework

(Animated World 2)

Link to my vanilla animations

Note that the framework itself does not include animations!

FAQ:

  • []Why only 1. 10. 163. 0?

Because that's the version I'm on. There's plans to convert it to all versions once I've made all the functions in F4SE.[]What does it do?

It adds the ability to play animations when you interact with things.[]If I make animations or patches now, do I have to update them if you update the framework?

No, as long as I don't dramatically change the categories for the animations nothing of what I program should matter for your patches.[]You're calling it a framework, but there's other frameworks out there that does the same thing, what gives?

This is a true framework, made from the ground up to be easy for people to implement their animations, it requires no scripting, doesn't alter the object you want to play the anim from (fixes incompatibilities) and requires minimal CK/xEdit knowledge. See the articles section and the example files.[]Does it work with FallSouls?

Yes, and it you want to play animations during menus it's a requirement.[]Is this the Animated World 2 you've been talking about for years at this point?

YES! []Why have the animations on a separate download page, are you farming DP?

Haha, no, this way I can clearly separate when I update the framework with bug fixes and features and add new animations.

Current features:

  • []Play animation on activating objects with the vanilla activate key (open, activate, harvest etc) - F4SE

[]Play animations when you pick up items from the ground - F4SE

[]Play animations when you take something from the quick container - F4SE

[]Play animation when consuming an item - F4SE

[]Play animation when equipping an item - F4SE

[]Play animation when you add an item to your inventory - F4SE

[]Play animation when you toggle your flashlight - F4SE

[]NPCs play animations when they consume items (like psycho) - F4SE

[]Equip from the ground - Papyrus / Perk (will never change)

    Future plans:
    • []Update the F4SE functions to different FO versions, not just OG.

    Special thanks:

[]Super special thanks to Geluxrum for helping me with all the F4SE stuff, setting up a workspace and with all my stupid questions.

[]Thanks to Bingle for sharing all their work on GitHub, saved me a lot of time when learning these C++ functions.

[]Thanks to LuBuCake for his work on t
