📋 About This Mod
I created this mod because I feel that some of the images present in Fallout 4 are out of place in the Fallout universe . This mod was created to correct ONLY the images that I considered problematic, and was tailored according to my personal preferences.
This mod consists of:
- 64 Magazine Covers
- 2 optional Magazine covers that were based on an idea from Ksyphos and created with his collaboration
- 30 backside (replaces the back of the magazines with ads and propaganda)
- 4 paintings
- 2 posters (although only two images were altered, the file in which the images are contained have another 5 images)
These were my criteria for replacing images: - Unconvincing themes and kindergarten humour : many magazine covers aren't remotely credible even in the Fallout universe and instead look like silly gags. This happens either because of the headline, or because of the way the idea is illustrated, or because of a combination of both . - replacing the image with another that better reflects the aesthetic or the mindset of the 1950's. - for a matter of coherence there were images that when replaced have forced me to remake the whole series (this is the case in the Wasteland Survival Guide , S. C. A. V. etc. ) . - the paintings of cats and dogs look like photos with some " artistic " filter and for me they don´t fit in this universe ; as for the poster of Mr. Pebbles , it feels too cutesy for Fallout .
All of these criteria are of course subjective and if you don't agree with me that is just fine. It's easy to customize this mod or to uninstall it. The images that you dislike are easily removed. I usually go to the folder where the files are installed using the Windows Explorer and make the icons bigger so that I can see the images that they refer to. Then you just have to delete the ones that you don't like and next time you start the game you will have the vanilla images.
To install just use the Nexus or a similar program. If you want to do manual installation, you must search guidance somewhere else. If some of what I wrote is confusing, sorry, but English is not my native language.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 789 endorsements and over 15k downloads.
- Fixes immersion-breaking magazine art for a more serious Fallout vibe.
- Adds back cover art, a detail most texture mods overlook.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016, so it may not be compatible with newer game patches or DLC.
- Only affects magazine covers—if you want broader texture changes, this won't do much.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter magazine textures or inventory items.
For Fallout 4 players who want to ditch the goofy magazine art and prefer a grittier, more lore-friendly aesthetic. If you're a collector who loves reading every issue, this adds a nice touch. Skip if you're fine with the vanilla covers or want gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
