📋 About This Mod
Please visit us on Discord:
This mod is for a No-AWKCR build and Complex Item Sorter users.
This mod uses Complex Item Sorter .ini files to arrange the INNR and icon tags. The custom INNR rule sets are arranged into a format that displays nicely with the R88 INNR or ECO INNR.
INSTALLATION
1. Install Institute Power Armor Redux
2. Download and install the patch file here.
3. Create a Complex Item Sorter Output file.
OPTIONAL
This mod use a custom class icon from 4estGimp - M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter Enhancements II but it is not required. A minor Edit of the .ini file allows a person who does not run my Enhancements II mod to simply use standard Power Armor Icons.
See 4estGimp - M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter Enhancements for examples of making output files in Complex Item Sorter.
** A Power Armor to the People version is available in Optional Files.
This patch provides an .ini file for M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter that tags the Institute Power Armor set, with the INNR rearranged and re-formatted for compatibility. It's a niche utility for Fallout 4 players using that sorting mod, with 196 endorsements and 6,555 downloads, last updated in June 2022.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community trust with 196 endorsements and over 6.5k downloads.
- Does exactly what it says: integrates Institute Power Armor into the Complex Item Sorter system.
- Lightweight patch—just an .ini file, no heavy scripts or meshes.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter as a dependency, so it's useless without that mod.
- Only affects the Institute Power Armor set—if you don't use that armor, this patch does nothing for you.
- Last updated in 2022, so it may not be compatible with newer versions of the sorter or other mods.
For Fallout 4 players who use M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter and want their Institute Power Armor properly sorted and tagged. Skip if you don't use that sorter or don't care about inventory organization for that specific armor set.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter installed and running before adding this .ini.
- Place the .ini file in the correct folder as instructed by the sorter mod—usually in the Data or F4SE folder.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting other sorter configs.
