- The file that I uploaded originally doesn\'t display the actual Dart gun dart animation, but is not absolutely precise, meaning VATS misses at 95% hit chance still occur from time to time
- The Gauss Rifle VATS Fix DART Projectile Tracer Disabled.esp (included in the second file) disables the Tracer chance, effectively enabling the Dart gun animation. This looks weird of course, I know, when a dart comes out of the Gauss Rifle, but this makes the Gauss Rifle ~99% free of VATS bugs, this basically means at least 95 out of 100 shots will hit (provided all of them have a 95% chance to hit in VATS), which reduces the VATS ballistic bugs to a minimum at the cost of the wrong animation. This makes NO changes to gameplay, it just displays a dart in flight. It seems this particular animated object forces the game to trace its ballistic trajectory, making the engine less prone to errors
- Gauss Rifle VATS Fix Lincoln Projectile.esp : This is just for fun. Not the most precise projectile mesh, but it seems it was originally created by Bethesda for usage with the Lincoln\'s repeater. The Mesh is already included in the official fallout ESP, so I only provide a fixed projectile file that points to the Lincoln projectile mesh in the fallout.esp archive. This mesh is still more precise and less prone to bugs than the original Gauss projectile!
- Use only one of the 3 provided files, whichever you prefer. You can leave all three in the DATA directory, but only check one in FOMM/Fallout Loader!

- This mod attempts to fix the persistent VATS ballistic trajectory woes that persist through all versions up to v. 1. 6. The following problems have been addressed:
- Missing the enemy in VATS when they move around, either to close in melee range or to pick up a new weapon if you destroyed theirs. They basically dodge projectiles, like the Matrix agents! Completely unrealistic, as no human being can move at the supersonic speed of a Gauss rifle projectile
- Missing the enemy when shooting them right at the moment when they get up after the Knockdown dealt by Gauss/Victory rifle
- Queueing several shots in VATS:
- Often only the first shot will hit, because the game doesn\'t update the locations of enemies, so it uses vectors memorised at the moment before you entered VATS, so if enemies move around while you are in VATS mode, the shots will hit the air
- If one enemy stands in front of the other, the enemy in the back has a reduced VATS percentage, since he is obstructed by the enemy in front of him. However, if you queue two shots in VATS, killing the front enemy should actually clear the sight at the enemy in the back, but the game doesn\'t update the hit chance percentage.
