ThreeDogs 3 Dogs Alternative

Description

This is an alternative to WatersMoon110's ThreeDogs 3 Dogs mod. I changed the names of the 3 dogs using Fallout 2 dog names:

• []Ghost is now: Pariah Dog

  []Lassie is now: Laddie

  []Rin Tin Tin is now: Smoke

  I also added a one-line dialogue for each dog, so that the player can say something to each of them. This is just for flavor, a way to refresh someone's memory in case they played Fallout 2 before but they don't remember the dogs.

  Update (v1. 1): the player will only be able to talk to each dog the first time they meet. This fixes the issue where the player would be stuck in dialogue with the dogs after a couple of visits to GNR.

  Details

  I liked the idea of adding 3 dogs to ThreeDog's room, since it makes the name "ThreeDog" make a little more sense in-game, and it also gives the DJ some company at GNR.

  However I didn't like the famous dog names used in the original mod, so I decided to change them. I brought back 3 dogs from Fallout 2, and I added a one-line dialogue to each of them that relates to the part played by each one in the old game.

  Installation

  1st. Copy the "Meshes" and "Textures" folders to your \Fallout 3\Data directory.

  2nd. Copy the "ThreeDog's 3 Dogs Alternative.esp" file to your \Fallout 3\Data directory.

  3rd. Activate "ThreeDog's 3 Dogs Alternative.esp" using the NMM.

  Uninstallation

  1st. Disable "ThreeDog's 3 Dogs Alternative.esp" using the NMM.

  2nd. Delete the "ThreeDog's 3 Dogs Alternative.esp" file from your \Fallout 3\Data directory.

  3rd. Delete the following folders:

  \Fallout 3\Data\Meshes\creatures\Dog

  \Fallout 3\Data\Textures\creatures\Dog
