This mod replaces Dogmeat with a leveling Yao Guai that is 50% of the size of wild Yao Guai (to allow him to follow you easily inside dungeons) I created a set of audio affects based on the Yao Guai but modified to not be so loud and constant. His voice in communication remains dogmeats. I set him to be a leveling monster so that he will continue to be useful at higher levels. I upped his damage a bit, lowered his bravery, increased his run speed, set his alignment to neutral, and made him assist only allies. With these changes he will stick close to the player, and retreat fairly well if you do. He will usually wait for you to be attacked before attacking. He will occasionally retreat if badly wounded.
