Date: 10/4/2010 RUI version: v. 85b ------------------------ ------------------------ Stage: Beta ------------------------- Project Goal: Adds levels, weapons, armors, quests, usable items, some fun homes, Weapon Mods, a shop with special items terminals, perks, and a hole bunch more of playtime and enjoyment to the fallout world. Difficulty is a key aspect of this mod and is much more difficult than the regular fallout world. Don’t be shy though to give suggestions as they are much appreciated. If you find a situation too difficult try different approaches and if all else fails contact me and I will personaly check the difficulty of the part you are on. Thank you! --------------------------------------------- What is RUI? ----------------------------------------------- RUI is an acronym that stands for Raiders United International (the main antagonist organization the player must face) and focuses on the fallout 3 wasteland and it’s low level of challenge that it brought to the table. This mod corrects that by providing alternate fun, exiting, and challenging dungeons that even the highest level player will start to “sweat” in. Not only does this add additional depth to the game but does so without adding more bloat-ware to your system(small files size). The above along with the new adventures, vendors ,personal storage, new houses, weapon mods, and items that come with being a higher level that the dev’s should’ve concentrated more on. Now you can look back once you’ve finished and say that you have actually earned your character and his gear through the vigorous challenges you will surely face in this “expansion” This mod adds so far ------------------------- 1. Multiple new weapons and armor (if you can find them all) 2. Multiple new and challenging dungeons for high levels (12+) 3. New rare items, consumables, and drugs not to be reviled here 4. New Quests with unique rewards 5. A New Town Next to megaton – Adds : new houses, buildings, 3 new shops, a fully scheduled faction/citizenship, new views, and new items 6. New Weapon modding system 7. A new collectable variety of Nuka Cola, or Limited Editions 8. Challenge that will keep your skills sharp 9. RUI Tacticals 10. An arena with a prize machine(in beta) 11. Special Vendors 12. New Player Homes 13. New Alternate Leveling system 14. Somuch fun! This mod is not intended for low levels and is best played out at higher levels due to the high challenge of the levels. The RUI Shop and levels all have locks on them for anyone below level 20. For anyone that level or above that has a problem with this mods difficulty, either fix up your character or change your strategy.
