Neutral Colors

Hello Everyone!

This is one of my first few Mods i made for the GOG GOTY Edition of Fallout 3.

After starting experimenting with xEdit (FO3Edit), i noticed the game uses Image-Spaces in the ESM files, they seem to be mostly related to predefined ingame Color Adjustments (Cinematic Filters), Tints, Saturation, Contrast and Brightness, Bloom, HDR etc.

Most of these predefined settings in my opinion aren't looking so good, from average green/grey-ish tints, to washed/bleached out colors.

With my little Mod i changed all the Image-Spaces back to Default neutral settings, i noticed alot of the textures and environments became more colorful.

These days we use things like ReShade or similar applications for such adjustments.

NOTE : I did not change any Bloom or HDR settings, it's best to use this mod without Bloom or HDR. it can be changed through the Fallout Launcher -> Options -> Screen Effects : None

INSTALLATION :

- Copy the "NeutralColors.esm" into your "Fallout 3/Data" folder

- Add the line "NeutralColors.esm" to your plugins.txt file and save

plugins.txt can be found in either "Fallout 3/Data" folder or "C:\Users\<YourAccountName>\AppData\Local\Fallout3"
