MME Save-O-tron

Tired of hitting the quick-save button? Angry about corrupt auto-save and quick-save files? Loving mods working like a charm while having no impact on your FPS? Then you should consider to install this brand new save manager.

But why another save manager besides CASM? Because this save manager is:

Compared with CASM (which I used all the time) the esp file of this mod is roughly seven times smaller in size. It skips all the features which are of small value, like saving the game on certain events or switching between profiles.

Highly efficient

All the scripts are focused on high performance, putting as few burden to the game engine as possible (leaving more CPU time to be spent for higher FPS). There is exactly one script running only once a minute for a small fraction of a second. The mod could have been tweaked to be even more efficient, but at the cost of an increase in total complexity.

The design uses the most appropriate concepts provided by he G. E. C. K. to achieve its goal. The scripts are as simple as possible, reducing the likeliness of hidden bugs. If you are a modder, feel invited to inspect the mod using the G. E. C. K. and tell me your opinions by leaving a comment!

Semi-automated

If you choose not to use the feature of saving the game regularly, the mod will manage all the checkpoint save games by creating up to eight of them which are overriden in a cyclic manner from time to time. Otherwise, if you use the feature of saving the game regularly, you will end up with save games having a nice descriptive name, created once and never overriden.

How to Install

If you use FOMM just add my mod using FOMMs Package Manager. Otherwise extract the archive and copy everything into your <Fallot 3>/Data folder. Tick MME Save-O-tron.esp and you are ready to rock!

How to Uninstall

If you use FOMM just deactivate the mod using FOMMs Package Manager. Otherwise delete everything you copied before to your <Fallot 3>/Data folder. But why would you ever wish to do that?
