Louder Sounds Overhaul

This mod makes Fallout 3's sound effects louder through audio normalization and compression.

Technical Process:

These sound files were made using my tool Soundwave Audio Pack.

What This Does:

Using a two-pass normalization and compression process, all sound files have been amplified which gives all sounds in the game to be more punchy.

Technical Process:

These sound files were processed using my tool Soundwave Audio Pack with the following steps:

Normalization:

The audio was initially normalized to a peak amplitude of -1. 0 dB, makes sure that all sound files maintain a consistent volume without any clipping.

Compression:

FFmpeg compression was configured to match Audacity's modern compression preset, smoothing out the dynamic range.

Final Normalization:

The tracks were normalized a second time to make sure that they peak at a consistent, non-clipping level.

The easiest and fastest way to install the mod is through Mod Organizer 2

Uninstalling: 🗑️

To remove the mod, use the "Remove Mod" feature in Mod Organizer 2
