Kill Fallout 3

A simple BAT file that kills Fallout3.exe, useful for hard crashes on Windows 10 that usually require a restart.

If the game freezes on Windows 10 even if you press CTRL+ALT+CANC and you open Task Manager you won't be able to alt tab to it to kill Fallout3.exe process. However you will be able to press the Windows key. This will bring up the start menu allowing you to search for the killfo3.bat file and execute it. You can even pinpoint the BAT file on the start menu itself. All the mod does is kill the Fallout3.exe process. If you don't want to download the mod you can simply create a bat file on your Desktop with the following command.

Taskkill /IM Fallout3.exe /F

Works with both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro.

As suggested by "DoveAlexa" you can also pinpoint the file directly to the Start Menu by adding it manually in this directory.

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Also keep in mind that by changing Fallout3.exe to FalloutNV.exe or Fallout4.exe and so on the mod will work with any Fallout game, well you can use it even for other games as long as you put the correct executable.
