📋 About This Mod

By default, EMP weapons are devastating to robots, and you don\'t really need to bother about collateral damage because they\'re so feeble on everything else. Well, now you should think twice if you wear power armour, lest you fry your own

I figured that power armour gives you some pretty good bonuses, especially if you use my Enhanced Vision Modes mod. There aren\'t many good reasons not to wear it. Well, now there\'s one more. Installation: Just stick the esp in your data folder and activate it. Use: You don\'t really \'use\' this mod per se, unless you cound throwing pulse grenades at Enclave Troopers. Effects: If anyone gets caught in the effect of a pulse weapon (one that uses the \"EMP\" effect), they take damage and stat penalties depending on how much power armour they are wearing. It\'s not the same damage as robots take, but it still hurts a bit. Specifically, if wearing a power helmet, you can\'t see for a few seconds, and get a 4 point perception penalty that fades over a few seconds. If wearing the full armour suit, you get 4 point strength and agility penalties that also fade over time. These penalties don\'t last long, but they do leave you open to attack for a moment. Note that other than the weird vision effect, these all apply to NPCs too, although in most cases you\'d still be better off with a plasma grenade. Notes: As far as I know, nobody in the game really uses EMP weapons, so the danger is mostly collateral damage from your own weapons. Still, the mod does what it\'s meant to, so I\'m pretty happy with it. Conflicts: Any mod that modifies the \"EMP\" actor effect, otherwise it should run fine with anything.
