📋 About This Mod
Hi folks, ever wanted to make a savegame and got a crash to desktop doing it? I sure had often. Worst of all the save wasn\'t even excecuted. Well fear no more. I have found a solution: 1)Disable all autosave functions. Never ever make autosaves or quicksaves. Both are crappy. I recommend doing this every so often you LOAD a savegame 2) If you have high armor rating, undress (no, i mean your Player Character, but if you want to send pics, be my guest (reallife Babe3like females only please, the mod got my tastes messed up, as did advertising ;-) 3) Drop a grenade and step close to it so you will get killed by it. Mines work too. 4) Fallout3, as usual, will now autoload your last used save 5) Make a new savegame. No crash you see! Believe me, it works. I had no troubles when saving ever since! REASONING I guess, the crashs where happening because the character animations (how he moves, draws guns etc.) somehow interfere with saving, however weird that sounds. Getting killed in an explosion loads certain animations. These are wiped out from memory when autoloading the save again. In fact all animations, not only the explosion ones, get wiped and loaded again. Loading animation files afresh seems to be whats necessary for not having CTDs when saving. Killing yourself in an explosion will do that, just as explained above. Perhaps someone will come up with a FOSE solution: A command line of wiping the animation files. Until then: Get yourself blown up! ------------- BROKEN STEEL PROBLEM SOLUTIONS --------------- These are not mine. I\'ve put this here because these two unfathomable brilliant plugins have at the same time the most brainwashed file naming: You would not know what they do when browsing through nexus and probably skip them. Well, don\'t! They are excellent mods! LINKS BELOW Here are two other fixes for two Brotherhood of Steel issues, if you have the addon from Bethesda (DLC) - The Engame video will play. The game is than supposed to continue. Instead it doesn\'t. You\'re in the games menu and that was it (uncheck the esp below after succesful usage) Get the main file: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6240 - Though the game has continues after the (first) main quest, that scribe is walking away from you, when he is supposed to give instruction before that nifty satelite map. Thie esp below will skip the conversation and will force activate the quest, putting it into your quest list on your pipboy. The missed conversation can be watched on youtube. Remembering correctly, you should NOT talk to the guy after that for more than once (or should\'nt talk at all to him) until the quest is done. Uncheck the esp after you\'ve gotten the desired effect (getting the quest, possibly(!) talking to him once). Best make a save before talking to him, once you got the quest. Make a save afterwards whatev
