Are you also pissed of seeing \"Classic\" Sniper Rifles without the Classic texture and/or feel? Well... You\'re in luck! Ziomster04 has redone a previous mod (a Pre-Geck one). I introduce you this fully-classic Sniper Rifle back into the Fallouts series! This includes the weapon textures, PipBoy Sniper Rifle & Bullet Textures (Descriptions actually), NPC-usage, and more! Location ======== Version A - Fully Replaces all of the vanilla Sniper Rifles into the DKS-501 Sniper Rifles. Version B - Creates a separate entity for the DKS-501 Sniper Rifles, which could be found in THE SAME locations as the vanilla Sniper Rifle, only slightly more rare. Details ======= 1.) Check the \"Location\" section for a part of the info. 2.) Version A will do the following: Replace all textures of the vanilla Sniper Rifle into the DKS-501. This one EXLUDES the orange-tinted scope, as it would have to replace all scopes from the game. AND THAT\'S IT! Version B will do the following: Add a separate entity, which will allow both the Vanilla AND DKS-501 Sniper Rifles to exist! New Sniper rifle also varies from the vanilla Sniper rifle in this version. . 223 rounds are the ammo (50 rounds per clip, just like in Fallout 1 (I know, it\'s too much)). NOTE: Don\'t let the lower damage fool you! Criticals are MUCH MORE KICK ASS now! VANILLA TO (VERSION B) DKS-501 COMPARISON ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Clip Roudns = 5:6 (One shot more per reload!) Health = 100:200 (twice as durable (Fallout 3 Snipers break TOO FAST)) Fire Rate = 1:1. 25 (Fires 1. 2x slower (Fallout 1 used up many AP)) Spread = 1:-1 (MUCH more accurate in 1st Person (Fallout 1 had good hit %!)) Min. Spread = 0:0 Sight FOV = 25:15 (1. 66x better zoom (Fallout 1 had good hit %!)) Crit Damage = 40:100 (Criticals = DEADLY, the way a Sniper Rifle should be (More like Fallout 1)) Value = 300:400 Damage = 40:30 (. 223 rounds in reality are worse than . 308 Winchester rounds) Base Vats To-Hit Chance = 16:10 (6% less chance your weapon will get damaged) Crit % Mult = 5:10 (5% higher Crit Chance) Action Points = 38:50 (Less shots in VATS, accounts for slowet attack speed (Fallout 1 also prevented you from shooting more than once per turn pretty much) Install ======= 1. Extract the files to a temporary location. 2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary. 3. Copy files to (install folder)\\Oblivion\\Data\\ 4.
