Captains selection 1. 0 So yeah, I made a simple retexture mod (partially based on Better Booze v0. 2 by CptJoker) and thought I\'d share it. I really liked the idea of changing the booze in this game into familiar brands, and CptJokers mod was really well done. I really felt like I needed my own personal favorites in there however, so I took the liberty to modify the textures to represent my favorite booze-brands. Except the gin. I hate gin, but a friend of mine wanted me to make a gin bottle, and I\'m not into vodka either, so why not. It\'s my first released mod ever, so please be gentle. : Replaces the texture for Scotch with Captain Morgans Spiced Gold Rum Replaces the texture for Whisky with Glenlivet 12 y.o. Replaces the texture for Vodka with Beefeaters Gin Replaces the texture for Beer with Zlatopramen Chzech lager That\'s it, a simple retexture. I really don\'t know how to manipulate the _em.dds files, or the _n.dds files, but if i learn how to, I might release an updates version of this. : 1. Simply extract the content of Captains_selection_1_0.rar to the Fallout 3 folder. This will put this readme and the screenshot in the Fallout 3 folder (root folder for the game) and the textures in the correct folders. 2. You need to edit your ArchiveInvalidation.txt (or create a new file with that name in Fallout 3\\Data) with these additional lines: textures/clutter/food/beerbottle.dds textures/clutter/food/vodka.dds textures/clutter/food/vodka_em.dds textures/clutter/liquorbottles/whiskeybottle01.dds textures/clutter/liquorbottles/whiskeybottle02.dds This step is unnecessary if you use Archive Invalidation Invalidated or Fallout Mod Manger. : As I mentioned this retexture mod is partially based on the textures of Better Booze v0. 2 by CptJoker, so thanks to you man. To be more specific I used his textures for large Jack Daniels as the starting point for the Captain Morgan, his Roentgen Rum texture as the starting point for the Glenlivet, and his Big Booze texture as the starting point for the Beefeater. I Also edited his vodka_em.dds to fit the Beefeater bottle. The Zlatopramen texture is based on the original texture.
