DESCRIPTION: ---------------------------------------------------------- This mod adds an 'armor' item called the "Adv. Recon Patcher," which will allow the player to add or remove Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision (including the nightvision, thermal vision, and optionally, Waterbreathing) to any headgear the player has equipped.

DETAILS: ---------------------------------------------------------- As far as the nitty-gritty goes, this mod takes the currently equipped headgear, and adds it to the lists that control what items have the nightvision etc. This means that nightvision should persist for any items even if the patcher is removed. Nightvision will have to be reapplied to whatever items upon starting a new game however.

Yes, this can be used to kinda cheat. No, I don't care. It's a moddable, single player game, difficulty is up to you. This is just a tool I wrote for myself to make the process easier.

If you want to change the optional Nightvision properties, (Waterbreathing and the ocular effect), you must FIRST remove Nightvision from the item, THEN add it with your new settings.

--Note These are non-negotiable, the mod will not function without them.

Install: ---------------------------------------------------------- Copy Advanced Recon Equipment Patcher.esp to your Fallout 3/Data folder and enable the mod.

Uninstall: ---------------------------------------------------------- Delete Advanced Recon Equipment Patcher.esp from your Fallout 3/Data folder.

--NOTE: If you want items to no longer give Nighvision abilities, you must first use the mod to remove nightvision from all equipemtn you added it to. REMOVING THE MOD WILL NOT REMOVE CHANGES IT HAS MADE!!! This can be good or bad depending on how you view it.
