ACU Revisited 2. 2 - Hardened Battle Armor, now contains the final versions for both the male and female sets of armor. It also has the fixed helmet that no longer replaces the vanilla Combat Armor helmet. From the Readme: ACU Combat Armor Revisited v2. 2 (Aka. Hardened Battle Armor) by theLeeHarvey Ok, I\'ve finally done what I started out to do. This version of ACU Combat Armor Revisited is now a unique set of battle armor and helmet. It no longer replaces the vanilla combat armor textures. The new armor, called Hardened Battle Armor, has slightly better DR than Ranger Battle Armor, significantly higher durability and what I hope you will find to be a nice but not unbalancing stat boost for you character. I have placed the armor in the Arlington Library\'s lobby on the rear desk. (See screen shot.) There is also a cheater friendly version of the armor hidden in a trunk somewhere in the mall for you to find. It is visually discernible from the standard set because it possesses gloves when worn (see screenshots). Note that this set is made for those who want to put on a set of armor and become godlike. It will most nearly max out your damage resistance as well as give you some decent attribute boosts. Installation: Same as always, extract the 7zip and then place the contained Data folder into your Fallout 3 folder. If you have the previous texture replacing version of this mod, I recommend deleting the outfitf.dds, outfitf_n.dds, outfitm.dds and outfitm_n.dds files in your Data/Textures/armor/combatarmor folder. When you load your game next time, Fallout 3 will load the original textures up from the .bsa archive reverting every set of combat armor to it\'s vanilla texture. Finally, you will have the only set of ACU Hardened Battle Armor in the wasteland.....once you go to the library anyways. If you are updating from a previous non-replacing version, uncheck ACU Battle Armor.esp in the data files section of the game launcher or in FOMM, then start the game and make a clean save. Exit fallout 3 and install as normal, when you copy the contained Data folder into your Fallout 3 folder, click \'yes to all\' when it asks you if you want to replace the previous files. If you don\'t make a clean save the new helmet will not appear on the desk in the Arlington Library. Contained in the main file are what is to be the final male and female versions of the ACU Hardened Battle Armor. Differences and improvements over the original include: Battle damage such as chipping and scarring of the armor plates. Straps now textured to look like standard nylon webbing. * Increased Highlights on raised areas.
