Higher Shadow Draw Distance

Its simple this mod increases the shadow draw distance by 4x, from 32 to 128.

1. Download and set-up EgoCore.

2. Extract the contents of the archive inside your game directory.

3. Enable the mod in EgoCore's mod manager.

(You can also use ASI Loader or another DLL injector of choice to run this mod. EgoCore is not a hard requirement.)

You can also manually change the Shadow Draw distance in HigherShadowDrawDistance.ini or in the mod settings section of  HigherShadowDrawDistance in EgoCore.

This mod works best when paired with ShadowPerspectiveProjectionDisabled and Ultra Plus Graphics. If you don't install Ultra Plus Graphics you will notice shadow pop-in from the foliage as it turns as 2D sprites in vanilla when a certain distance is reached. When playing with Ultra Plus Graphics mod I suggest you download the "UltraPlusCombined" file so you can switch between shadow buffer sizes that determine the softness of the shadows: Highest settings - sharpest shadows/ Lowest settings- softest shadows.

IMPORTANT: Works only with Fable: The Lost Chapters (2005) and precisely the Steam version of the executable.

(If you own the disk version of the game, I'm sure that with a bit of searching you can find the Steam version of Fable.exe.)
