This is one of the most sought-after and high-quality bus mods available for the game, known for its incredible detail and realistic driving experience. Here’s a breakdown of what makes this specific mod stand out: Marcopolo Paradiso G7 1800 DD – Scania – 15 Meters (Altec Mod) 1. Authentic and Highly Detailed Model: Exterior: The bus is meticulously modeled to accurately represent the iconic Marcopolo Paradiso G7 1800 DD, a staple of long-distance travel in Brazil and other countries. Every detail, from the lights and mirrors to the intricate body lines, is recreated with high precision. Interior: Altec Mod is renowned for its interior work. Both the upper and lower decks are fully modeled with: A driver's cabin featuring a highly detailed dashboard with animated gauges, functional switches, and often an integrated multimedia screen or GPS. Passenger seating on both decks, offering various seat types (e.g., conventional, semi-leito, leito-cama) with realistic textures and configurations. Modeled amenities such as restrooms, pantries, and the central staircase connecting the two levels. Realistic internal lighting for both day and night driving. 2. Scania Chassis (15 Meters): The "Scania – 15 Meters" specification means this version of the mod is based on a real-life Scania chassis, commonly the Scania K-Series (e.g., K400IB, K440IB, K450C, K480IB), which are standard for the 15-meter double-decker configuration of the G7 1800 DD. This includes: Authentic Scania Engines: Various engine power options (e.g., 400hp, 440hp, 450hp, 480hp) that replicate the real-world performance and torque of Scania's engines. Realistic Scania Transmissions: Corresponding transmissions like the Scania Opticruise, providing accurate gear ratios and shifting characteristics. Physics: The bus's handling and weight distribution are tailored to simulate a heavy, 15-meter double-decker on a Scania chassis. 3. High-Fidelity Sound Design: A major highlight of Altec Mod's creations is the sound. They often integrate or collaborate with sound designers (like Rafasound) to provide highly realistic Scania engine sounds, including unique engine tones, air brake sounds, gear shifts, horn, and various internal cabin noises for maximum immersion.
