It pays homage to a real-life trucker known as "Borges Batateiro" (or sometimes "Cabelo Batateiro"), who became famous for his truck configurations and customizations, especially Mercedes-Benz models. Features of the 1620 Borges Batateiro Mod: This mod aims to replicate the style and configurations that were characteristic of Borges Batateiro's trucks, typically including: Visual Customization: The highlight is the customization options that evoke Brazilian style, such as: Distinctive Grille: Often with the original 1620 grille or with some modifications. Modified Bumpers: With more robust designs or specific accessories. Customized Mudguards: With stickers or phrases that refer to "Borges Batateiro" or the world of cargo transportation (such as "God Makes Things Happen," "Only Gold," "Boiadeiro," etc.). Wheels and Tires: Wheel and tire options that give a more "arched" or heavy-duty look, typical of Brazilian roads PX antennas, owls, auxiliary lights, and other accessories: To give the truck a more realistic and customized touch. Rumble and Horns: It's common for the mod to come with realistic Mercedes-Benz 1620 engine sounds, including "direct" roars and characteristic horns, such as the "Tarzan horn." Detailed Cabin: Cabin interior with details that mimic real trucks, such as the dashboard, original steering wheel, or optional sport steering wheels (GTI), and sometimes even the option of having a "chauffeur" (driver) in the passenger seat. Chassis Options: Generally offers different chassis configurations, such as 4×2 and 6×2 (truck). Engines and Transmissions: Various engine options (including "chip-fit" or "direct-drive") and transmissions to simulate different power outputs and behaviors. Compatibility with Rigid/Invisible Loads: Because it is a "toco" (simple chassis) or "truck" (chassis with a second axle at the rear), it is often used with invisible loads or rigid trailers mods, which allow cargo to be transported directly on the truck bed, simulating a box truck, car carrier, or loose cargo. Where to Find the Mod: You can find the "1620 Borges Batateiro" mod on several channels and websites specializing in ETS2 mods.
