SEMOD Lite is an open-source lightweight version of the SEMOD mod menu for Escape the Backrooms. It provides several useful multiplayer, lobby, player, actor, and map-related features while keeping the project simple and public.

The full SEMOD version is not open source. This Lite version is intended for players and developers who want a lighter public version with useful core features.

Important Requirement

This mod requires UE4SS V2. 5. 2 to run.

Please make sure UE4SS V2. 5. 2 is correctly installed in your Escape the Backrooms game directory before using SEMOD Lite. Other UE4SS versions may not work correctly.

Page Overview

The SEMOD Lite menu is divided into several pages:

Each page contains a different category of features.

The Map page is used for map-related and lobby-related options.

Available functions:

1. Map Selection

You can select a map from the map list.

2. Load Button

After selecting a map, you can press the Load button to load or switch to the selected map.

3. MaxPlayers Value

The MaxPlayers option allows you to set the maximum player count for the lobby.

SEMOD Lite can unlock the original 4-player limit and increase it up to 16 players.

4. Level94 Day/Night Switch

This function is used for Level 94 and allows switching between day and night.

5. Skip Bunker Video

This function is used to skip the bunker video.

The button text may show the current state, such as:

The Actor page contains tools related to actors, entities, items, and spawning.

Available functions:

1. Player Selection

At the top of the page, you can select a player. The menu shows player information such as:

- Player name

- Steam name

2. Location Values

The Location fields allow you to enter or modify X, Y, and Z location values.

These values are used when spawning or placing actors/entities/items.

3. Scale Values

The Scale fields allow you to set X, Y, and Z scale values.

These values control the scale of spawned actors/entities/items.

4. Entity List

The Entity List dropdown allows you to select an entity.

5. Spawner Button

The Spawner button is used with the selected entity and location/scale settings.

6. Spawn Button for Entity

The Spawn button can spawn the selected entity.

7. Spawned Entity List

The Spawned Entity dropdown lists spawned entities.

8. Destroy Button

The Destroy button can destroy the selected spawned entity.

9. Item List

The Item List dropdown allows you to select an item.

10. Spawn Quantity

The Spawn Quantity value controls how many items will be spawned.

11. Item Spawn Button

The Spawn button next to the item options spawns the selected item.

Adds the selected item to the selected player.

13. All Add

Adds the selected item to all players.

Spawns the selected item.

15. All Spawn

Spawns the selected item for all players or applies the spawn action broadly depending on the item function.

Uses the selected item for the selected player.

17. All Use

Uses the selected item for all players.

18. Clean Up All Items

This button cleans up spawned items.
