The Escher Trap

'Maurits Cornelis Escher' glared bright and bold on the ticket in your hands. Art Galleries were enchanting places full of vibrant colours and patterns that sucked the viewer into new realities, but this particular gallery seemed to call to you, the artist's glossed and silvery name staring back at you whenever you glanced down at the gaudy slip. Escher's work dealt with worlds where typical physical rules didn't apply, where the real and unreal shuffled and danced alongside one-another. Though this gallery would only contain tribute work and replicas, you had to see it all for yourself; you had to be sucked into these worlds firsthand! Although, having said that, you find that one particular submission seems to take such a metaphor far too literally. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thank you to all the artists who helped me with this room! if you like the work, please go check them out! :D https://freesound.org/people/Eponn/sounds/619838/ - puzzle solved sound https://freesound.org/people/proolsen/sounds/466272/ - pressure plate sound https://freesound.org/people/dingus23/sounds/275809/ - earthquake "Alluding to relativity" by myself - Twitter: @LeoWolfbane "Waterwheel" - by Emma - Instagram: @emstagram1996 "Pet Pandemonium" by Mergs - Twitter: @GalaxieBubblez "The Blockydere" by Jana P, - Twitter: @Last_2_Laugh Harry - Voiced by himself Raymond - Voiced by herself Marley - Voiced by himself
