English version: The events of the original Half-Life take place in the Research Complex "Black Mesa" in 200-. During the experiment, the researchers accidentally generate a cascade resonance, creating an interdimensional rift between the Earth and a parallel universe called Zen. The creatures that entered through the portals flooded the Black Mesa and began to kill everyone around. The player assumes the role of Gordon Freeman, one of the scientists involved in the incident and trying to escape from the complex. At the end of the game, a mysterious figure known as G-Man pulls Gordon out of Zen, where he defeated the leader of the alien forces, Nikhilant, and makes him a job offer. Forced to agree, Gordon goes into stasis for about twenty years.
