Convenience Mod (EML)

Description

This mod is a compilation of the tweaks and changes that i made for myself, and i figured some of them might be useful to others as well. 

Most of the options are focused on convenience (as the name implies), but some of them are gameplay/balance oriented, and a few of them are cheat/creative options more than anything else. I've tried to make it as modular as possible, so you can pick and choose the features you want. It also comes with a range of tweakable values and multipliers for most features.

It is not meant to replace any other mod out there, but rather complement them and their features, although it can be used by itself. A mod like EMBER works with this, and has a number of options this one doesn't.

The mod is experimental, although i have tested, used and confirmed that the included features work for me, i don't know how they will work on other systems or outside of singleplayer. I should also say that I'm not a developer or coder of any kind and prior to modding this game, hadn't really worked with Lua before (I didn't use AI for this, except for getting some questions answered, which presumably shows in the code).

That being said, if you run into any issues, let me know and I'll try to fix them.

Installation instructions

IMPORTANT NOTE: MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR WORLDS/CHARACTERS BEFORE USING THEM WITH THE MOD ACTIVE.

Like i said above, the testing so far has been somewhat limited, so better safe than sorry.

Important note 2: the mod HAS to be configured before being used, as everything is deactivated by default.

For singleplayer: Same as with other EML mods

1. Download the latest "dbghelp.dll" from here.

2. Place that in the in the folder that Enshrouded is installed in, next to the enshrouded.exe file.

3. In that same folder, create a new folder called "mods".

4. Move the ConvenienceMod folder from inside the .zip file (NOT the .zip itself) downloaded here to the newly created mods folder.

After that, navigate into the src folder inside the ConvenienceMod folder, open the mod.lua file with a text editor and configure the mod  as desired.

There are further explanations and notes for the options inside the mod.lua file, but if you have any more questions about them feel free to ask.

As for multiplayer installation I'm really not sure, but i would assume it would also be the same as for any other EML mod.

Main features

Too many to list here, some examples include:

faster rakes and pickaxes, on top of giving them larger terraforming radiuses.

the ability to use weapons and tools underwater.

making normally dangerous terrain harmless.

making crafted weapons and armor be the legendary rarity, and a bonus option for making tools legendary.

increasing the max skill level cap from 3 to (up to) 7.

Increasing the level of weapons found in chests and on bosses around the world.

Increasing the level cap of gem forges and gems (and other items).

Tweaks to fishing, tamed animals, comfort mechanics, the durability of equipment and more.
