Ship Zoom Mod

Description

This mod adds a ship camera zoom feature to Empyrion - Galactic Survival, which is missing in the base game. It allows you to zoom the camera in and out while piloting your ships and capital vessels for a better view.

Installation instructions

• []Download latest version from the Files tab.[/]

  []Extract the archive.[/]

  []Move the extracted folder (which contains the .dll and .yaml files) into your Empyrion mods directory: \Content\Mods\[/]

  []Launch the game once — the mod will automatically generate the configuration file (ShipZoomMod.conf) inside that same folder.[/]

  []Open the configuration file with any text editor to customize your settings if needed. Note: You must restart the game for your config changes to take effect.[/]

  • []Custom Hotkeys: Change your zoom trigger key to any button (e.g., Z, X, C, Mouse2, LeftControl) via the config file.[/]

    []Flexible Zoom Modes: Choose between "Hold" (zoom is active only while holding the key) and "Toggle" (press once to enable, press again to disable).[/]

    []Adjustable Zoom Strength & Speed: Fully customize the target Field of View (FOV) value and the smoothness of the zoom transition.[/]

    []Smart Mouse Wheel Integration: Smooth zoom control using the mouse wheel. While zooming, the game's hotbar scrolling is temporarily blocked so you don't accidentally switch your items. Includes an invert axis setting.[/]

    []Diagnostic Logging: Features an optional built-in log system to easily check mod status and troubleshoot issues.[/]
