Refurbished Scoutship

The Battering Ram nose sections of the Deimos and Hephaestus class destroyers are nearly indestructible. When these ships fall in combat, their battered halls are towed back to shipyards and often refurbished and rebuilt into smaller scout ships. This Refurbished Scoutship model is designed for prolonged missions with an onboard fabrication facility, two small greenhouses, and a luxurious sleeping cabin as well as a well equipped medical room. When landed, a ramp extends from its rear hangar to deploy small utility or scout vessels to resupply the scout ship. As things can be rather dangerous on the frontier, this vessel is well armored and equipped with enough firepower to go toe-to-toe with larger capital vessels.
