I built this tiny CV as a loot vessel for my Sovereign Class Reaper. It fits easily through a 13x7 Hangar Door and parks easily in my Reaper Hangar Bay. Turning around is no problem.

This Is a Small, Fast, and Shielded, Warp Capable, Decently Armed High Storage Capacity CV

I designed it to support a 320 kSU Ore & Wood Container and a 65 kSU Ammo Container with a Shield, Warp Drive, and high speed. It gets 75 m/s Acceleration in all 6 directions with a generous supply load, but keep in mind that Acceleration Speed lowers rapidly as you load it with 320 kSU of heavy loot.

You enter it from a Shutter Door on the roof, accessible by two ladders on either side.

For some reason there is a bug with small CVs that causes them to be unsteerable when you enter the Pilot Seat almost half the time. If this happens reload your save. That always fixes it. In addition, CV Hangar Doors with Sensors do not respond to you when you are flying a CV, so use the Open Hangar Door Lever in the Sovereign Class Reaper to open the Hangar Door if you plan to use this Reaper Explorer inside it.

Another quirk is that on a CV this small, every time you Tab out to your Desktop and return, if you don't turn all turrets off and on, they probably won't work until you do.

Don't forget to activate the Reticule from the Control Panel Main Tab when firing the Mounted Weapons.

If you are playing Project Eden and planning to install the Augmented Shield or Antimatter Warp Drive, make sure you change the other attributes like the Energy In and Mass values back to the vanilla values the way I explain at the bottom of my Sovereign Class Reaper post. That way you won't have your performance ruined by the circle jerking, delusional scenario creators.

Vermillion took his cues from the terrible choices made by Eleon, and now Ravien has followed suit. They added all these custom devices with costs that are so astronomical that they cannot be auto repaired. ???? That is why I never use any of their custom weapons. I have better things to do than manually replacing dozens of turrets every time I take some damage.

This is why I design ships that only use vanilla weapons and are deadlier than any Reforged Garbage junk. You have to ask yourself what are these guys on? But it’s worth it to correct the attributes of the Augmented Shield and Antimatter Warp Drive and use them just because they have their own unique ID. It’s more immersive than just changing the Jump Ranges and Hit Points on the vanilla versions.
