📋 About This Mod
My personal upload of a Reshade profile that I use for beautifying Empyrion. This is my first reshade profile I've made, so be gentle please LOL.
Reshade--the quintessential tool for beautifying any videogame. And none have responded as well as Empyrion does to a variety of tweaks, profiles, or adjustments. It's like the Type O blood of Reshade-compatible games. After a couple requests on Reddit, I'm posting my personal Reshade profile that I use when playing Empyrion. Nothing too major, I just added some AO to give self-shadowing and nearby objects some more depth and "realism" with some fake tessellation effects, ambient lighting to make atmospheric effects more vibrant, and a little bit of HDR fakery to add some contrast to the whole image. Everything of course is toggleable and editable to your preference.
Quick-n-easy tutorial for first time installs of Reshade:
-Download this file
-Download the latest Reshade build from Reshade.me
-Install Reshade to Empyrion (pic DX 10/11/12 for the API)
-Choose this file when it asks to "select a profile"
-Play Empyrion!
