Bright Ore (DirectX 12 only)

The ore veins are more visible.

• 1. The .pak file must be placed in the Elex 2 installation directory, where all the game's other .pak files are located. In other words, the final path should look like this (depending on your installation path):\ELEX2\data\packed\m_9_Aigni_Bright_Ore.pak

If you're using multiple mods, it's possible that some of them won't be loaded by the game anymore. If that's the case, I highly recommend merging all the mods into a single one.

Here’s how to do it:

• 1. Download ElexPakMerge and extract it somewhere.

  2. In the extracted ElexPakMerge directory, navigate to: tools\elex2resman. The elex2resman.exe file should be there; if not, you’re in the wrong directory.

  3. Now locate the \ELEX 2\data\packed directory and copy all your mod files into the directory containing elex2resman.exe.

  4. Now select the mod files one by one (click once with the mouse) and drag and drop them onto elex2resman.exe. A command prompt (black window) will then appear. In the command prompt, always press the asterisk key and confirm with Enter. This is the symbol: *5. Once all files have been successfully extracted, you’ll need to create the new folder structure. To do this, create a new folder directly in the directory containing elex2resman.exe with any name you like, such as MyMergeMod.

  6. Now copy all the folders from each extracted mod directory into the new mod folder you created. It should look something like this in the end: MyMergeMod\documents

  MyMergeMod\Image If, while copying the folders into your MyMergeMod folder, you’re prompted to confirm whether to overwrite existing files, that means you have mods that conflict with each other. In that case, you’ll have to choose one of the two mods, whether you like it or not.

  7. Once all the contents are in your new “MyMergeMod” folder, finally drag and drop the folder onto elex2resman.exe. If you’ve done everything correctly, you’ll now be prompted to enter a priority number. Type in 9 and press Enter to confirm. The newly repacked .pak file will then appear in the same directory.

  8. Copy the newly created .pak file to the \ELEX 2\data\packed directory and move all your other mod files out of this directory, since they’re now all included in the newly created mod and shouldn’t interfere.

  9. Start the game and enjoy yourself.

You can uninstall this mod - at any time - without the risk of any resulting problems by removing the applied files from the Frosty Mod Manager.
