Risk Of Nightreign

The goal of Risk Of Nightreign is to improve the roguelike aspects of as well as the general flow of runs in Nightreign.

This mod is still in development. Expect unfinished content. Expect bugs.

When updating, delete all files from previous versions of the mod.

Extract the contents of NRSC's SeamlessCoop Folder into the one provided by RoNR.

Launch via LaunchRoNR_NRSC.me3

This mod requires the player to have The Forsaken Hollows DLC. Launching without DLC may cause bugs or crashes, as this mod is dependent of DLC content.

A work-in-progress Wiki as well as nightly patches can be found on the GitHub.

Compatibility with other mods - especially other overhaul/added content mods is not possible due to technical limitations.

[]Reworked Game Progression & Loot Distribution

Nightbosses and Goals reward a choice between 3 weapons.

Elemental Structure Bosses reward passives associated with their element.

Mines reward passives that boost direct weapon damage.

Sorcerer's Rises reward spell catalysts. Filedbosses reward a choice between 3 random RARE passives. Map interactibles reward random passives of any rarity.[/]

A large amount of passive items has been added to the loot pool, coming in 3 rarities

- Common (white)

- Rare (purple)

- Legendary (red)

Collect and stack them up to power up and create a variety of builds!

Every Weapon can be any of the 4 rarities - 50% Common, 30% Uncommon, 15% Rare & 5% Legendary Chance.

Each Weapon has has a unique Weapon Ability, though Blacksmith Village Anvils can re-roll them as usual.

The weapon's rarity reflects the strength of it's Passive Ability: Common Weapons have none, Uncommon Weapons have the weakest, and Legendary Weapons have the strongest.

Some of these effects are re-homed vanilla Weapon Passives, some are entirely new.

A lot of Weapon Passives apply to all armaments, unlike vanilla weapon powers.

[*]Nightfarer Adjustments

Level Up Stat gain has been drastically reduced - passive items are no longer just a useful bonus, they are a requirement to grow in power.

Nightfarers also passively regenerate HP at a slow rate.
