📋 About This Mod
This mod compresses story cutscenes and tutorial videos, which in original form take up 5,43 gigabytes. Thanks to this mod, the movie folder will be compressed to 1,04 gigabyte.
This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. My goal is to compress video files so that they are as small as possible while still maintaining the original quality. Without changing the video resolution or frames per second.
I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a huge bloated files.
Re-encoded story cutscenes and tutorial videos.
Installation:
Backup movie folder in Game/movie folder, in case you decide to revert back.
Unzip Elden Ring Nightreign. Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
Example: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN
