Game Update 1. 03 and beyond

This mod is updated to game version 1. 03, please update your game to use it.

Many people have downloaded this updated version of the mod, but only two have commented with their results. One says it works and the other says it doesn't. I lost interest in the game and I'm not testing myself since this update. As always, please backup your save file as described below before trying this mod.

Description:

This mod edits two values in regulation.bin: the prices of Scenic Flatstone and Deep Scenic Flatstone in the Small Jar Bazaar which usually cost 600 and 1800 Murk respectively.

By purchasing these relic “rolls” and selling back the unwanted relics, you also get "free" Murk currency.

Only these shop prices changed. Relic generation left as-is.

Can you bring them online with the vanilla game files? Read on.

I'm uploading three versions, you only need one:

- “All Cheap” reduces the prices of both types of Flatstones to a low 2-digit number. Great for a shopping spree, but if you stock way too much spare Murk it could look suspicious like an obvious sign of cheating.

- “Classic Cheap” reduces the price of Scenic Flatstone to a low 2-digit number and increases the price of Deep Scenic Flatstone to a mid 4-digit number. This is useful for rolling classic relics, and you can get rid of excess Murk by purchasing deep relics.

- “Deep Cheap” reduces the price of Deep Scenic Flatstone to a low 2-digit number and increases the price of Scenic Flatstone to a mid 4-digit number. This is useful for rolling deep relics, and you can get rid of excess Murk by purchasing classic relics.

This mod also contains my own .bat for an offline launcher without EAC. This is functionally identical to the popular one but with more thorough comments. You are welcome to read the file in a text editor to see, or use another offline launcher of your choice. Seamless Co op would also be fine. Just don't launch the game normally from Steam if you have modified files in the game folder such as this mod.

If you play with modified files, you can be banned at any time. By installing mods, you accept the risk of an immediate or future ban. Always create backups of your game save folder and game files. In my own experience I can use this mod to get murk and relics to use in public online matches without being banned. I can not promise the same for you, especially if you do not read this page thoroughly.
