Description:

Matching color of armor plates for a more dignified look, plus six cape variants to choose from.

Features:

• []The same color tint for all metal elements.

  []Reduced specular power for gambeson and cape, so that they don't look so greasy.

  []Removed trim coloring from the gambeson.

  []Cape colors: black, blue, brown, green, purple, red.

  []Bonus: Layered PSD files, in case you want to tweak something.

  Installation:

  • []Download and install Mod Engine 2.

    []Download my mod.

    []Extract the archive into the mod directory of Mod Engine 2 (specified in config_eldenring.toml).

    []Make sure Steam is running.

    []Run launchmod_eldenring.bat.

    []Done.

    Compatibility:

    Not compatible with mods that visually alter the same armor parts.

    Tweaking:

    If you want to change something about the mod, but don't have any experience in modding Souls games, then follow these instructions.

    • []Get Yabber.

      []Copy oo2core_6_win64.dll from Elden Ring's folder into Yabber's folder.

      []Unpack a DCX file (armor prefix – bd, gauntlets – am, leggings – lg) from the mod, as instructed in Yabber's documentation.

      []Navigate through the unpacked folder structure and find the TPF file.

      []Unpack it to get textures in DDS format.

      []Get Adobe Photoshop (I used the 2021 version) or another tool that correctly handles DDS and PSD files.

      []For Photoshop, install Intel Texture Works plugin v1. 0. 5.

      []Get PSD files of my mod and open one of them in Photoshop.

      []Modify it to your hearts content.

      []Save it in Intel® Texture Works (. DDS) format, and make sure the Alpha Channel option is checked.

      []Choose these options in In the plugin window:

      Texture Type: Color + Alpha

      Compression: BC7 8bpp Fine (Linear, DX11+)

      Mip Maps: Auto Generate

      []Override the original texture (the one unpacked from the TPF file).

      []Repack the TPF and DCX files as per Yabber's documentation.

      []Done.
