Who this mod is for:

 people that have played Elden Ring dozens of times, have heard and appreciated the story and just want to jump in to play.

What this mod does:

 This mod DISABLES nearly all spoken dialogue in the game, drastically speeding up all NPC interactions. All dialogue is AUTOMATICALLY skipped for you, and all you will need to do is select the appropriate dialogue response for any given interaction. Lengthy boss soliloquies, such as "I am the lord of all that is golden" after defeating Godrick have been removed, so you can get onto the next part of the game. See the video for an example of how a few interactions are faster as a result. If you care about repeating the story and listening to spoken dialogue, DO NOT INSTALL. THIS MOD IS NOT FOR YOU.

What this mod DOES NOT DO:

 It DOES NOT change anything concerning cut scenes or remove any animations during dialogue, such as Fia's "be held" animation or the "let me rest my hand upon you for but a moment," animation when transitioning to Roundtable hold. I am pretty sure removing these will break certain transitions, so I left them alone.

I made this mod on current version of Elden Ring (v1. 16. 1 at time of writing) with the SOTE DLC included. I have NOT tested this on a build without the DLC, use it at your own risk.

CSV file is included for merging. Kindly create backup files of regulation.bin and your save file before installing ANY new mod.

INSTALLATION:

Requires either Mod Engine or UXM for unpacking, pick one or the other. Please see their respective GitHub web pages for details.

If this mod is all you want to install, simply place the regulation.bin from my mod into your "mod" folder from Mod Engine.

If you want to merge with your existing mod installation, you will need Smithbox along with my provided CSV file.

For CSV merging instructions, please consult the Soulsmodding website.
